These rules help Alberton Guesthouse keep the property safe, comfortable and enjoyable for every guest and visitor.
No fighting. No screaming or disruptive shouting. No personal speakers or DJs.
Shared music is provided by Alberton Guesthouse at a reasonable volume.
Treat other guests, neighbours, staff and the property with respect. Street parking is not permitted. Group organisers are responsible for their team. Anyone who seriously disregards the rules may be asked to leave where lawful.
No smoking inside rooms. No food in bedrooms. Visitors require prior permission and unregistered visitors may not stay overnight. Check-out is by 10am.
Bring your own plates, glasses, cutlery and other picnic utensils. Bring extra swimming towels. Keep to the agreed day-visit times; extra time is not automatically available.
Use the swimming pool responsibly and supervise children closely at all times.
A direct accommodation reservation is temporarily held while payment is arranged. Paying at least R5 secures the date. A guest may instead pay a higher deposit or the full booking amount.
Because a secured date is removed from availability, amounts paid as a booking deposit are ordinarily retained as the cancellation charge when the customer cancels. This rule is applied subject to applicable South African consumer law, including limits on unreasonable cancellation charges and legally required exceptions.
Please share these rules with everyone in your group before arrival.
We look forward to hosting you at Alberton Guesthouse.
